Inside a term: eight levels, one story.

A term isn't a list of topics — it's a climb. Over about 12 weeks your child moves up eight levels of one story form, each a new move a real writer makes, ending in the Showcase. Choose a grade and a term to see exactly what they climb.

Answer from the textFinds the main idea of a story and answers who, what, where, and when — then retells a moment in order.

Describe the characterNotices how a character feels and points to where the story shows it, and describes the character with a couple of details.

Find the evidencePoints to the exact sentence that proves an answer, and works out new words from the sentence around them.

Actions and consequencesExplains why things happen in the story, and writes "because" and "so" sentences to show it.

Point of viewRetells a moment from another character's point of view.

Use dialogueSees how characters' words move the story along, and writes a line of dialogue correctly.

Two live sessions. One coach who knows your child.

Each week is two 55-minute live sessions with the same coach all term — so no time is lost re-explaining who your child is or where they got to. Between sessions, a short Workout keeps the skill warm.
