How it works
Cueword is a full year of English communication, built like a school year — three themed terms, a steady weekly rhythm with the same coach, and a real performance to show for each one. Here's how it fits together, zooming from the whole year down to a single session.
Each term takes on one big communication skill, in order — because you can't argue a case well until you can first tell a story and explain an idea.
Find a voice and learn to hold an audience — narrative, description, and reading something aloud that lands.
Make hard things clear — explainers, how-it-works talks, and writing a reader actually follows.
Take a position and defend it — structured argument, evidence, and a real debate round.
A term isn't a list of topics — it's a climb. Over about 12 weeks your child moves up eight levels of one story form, each a new move a real writer makes, ending in the Showcase. Choose a grade and a term to see exactly what they climb.
Grade 3 · Storytelling — Step inside the story
Every level grows all five skills — comprehension, vocabulary, speaking, writing and spelling — and every term ends in a live Showcase.
Each week is two 55-minute live sessions with the same coach all term — so no time is lost re-explaining who your child is or where they got to. Between sessions, a short Workout keeps the skill warm.
A session isn't five worksheets. Your child moves through one story, and all five skills happen inside it — one continuous experience.
The loop stays the same all year; the story and the difficulty climb grade by grade.
Twelve weeks of work land in two concrete things you can see and keep.
Children taught one-on-one outperform about 98% of classroom-taught peers — the "two-sigma" finding (Bloom, 1984). It's the most effective format education has ever measured.
