Spoken English Classes for Kids
Live one-on-one spoken English coaching for Grades 2–8, built on stories your child picks. Your child retells, explains and makes a case in full sentences, and each term ends in a live Showcase in your presence.

Spoken English Your Child Uses Every Day
Confident spoken English comes from talking, not from worksheets. In every class your child talks through a story they picked, with their coach, in full sentences, and does most of the talking.
Cue, Don't Tell
The coach asks the right question, so your child works it out and does most of the talking.
Saying It Out Loud
Explaining their thinking in full sentences, with reasons, to a real person.
Reading Aloud
Reading aloud so a listener stays with them.
New Words, Used Out Loud
New words met in the story, worked out from the scene, then used in your child's own sentences.

Three Terms. One Coach. A Showcase Every Term.
Spoken English that tells a story, explains clearly and makes a case.
Term 1 · Storytelling
Telling a story well: your child reads a story closely, then retells it and writes one of their own. Ends in a Showcase: a story, told live.
Term 2 · Explaining
Explaining clearly: true stories and real topics, explained in their own words. Ends in a Showcase: an explainer, presented.
Term 3 · Persuading (Arguing in Grades 6–8)
Making a case: an opinion with reasons in Grades 2–5, and a full argument that answers the other side in Grades 6–8. Ends in a Showcase: a case, argued.
Spoken English, Grade by Grade
What your child says out loud in Term 2, Explaining, at each grade.
Each grade page shows all three terms.
2nd Grade
Says the big idea and one fact, explains steps in order, tells where a fact came from, then gives a mini-report with an opening, a few facts and a close.
Explore Grade 2 →3rd Grade
Tells back a main idea with two facts, describes what a diagram shows, explains a process step by step, asks the speaker a question, and gives an organized one-minute mini-lesson.
Explore Grade 3 →4th Grade
Explains a topic using one structure, walks through a chart aloud, restates a point and its support, uses two sources, and gives an organized report built around a visual.
Explore Grade 4 →5th Grade
Gives an organized summary, explains why two accounts differ, speaks from several sources, says what a visual adds, and presents a short explainer with a visual, naming sources aloud.
Explore Grade 5 →6th Grade
Names a source's purpose and what gives it away, walks through evidence across formats, lays out a disagreement fairly, and gives a one-minute, multi-source explanation using a chart or diagram.
Explore Grade 6 →7th Grade
Describes a chain of influence, outlines an argument, lays out why two sources differ, and gives a short explanation of the key points, made clearer with a chart or diagram.
Explore Grade 7 →8th Grade
Explains with an analogy and its limits, fairly names a motive and its telltale sign, argues for the right medium, and gives a two-minute explanation drawn from several sources.

Questions About Spoken English Classes
What does a class look like?
Live, online and one-on-one with the same coach all term. Your child picks the stories they want to do in each class, then listens, reads, learns words in context, speaks and writes about them.
How many kids are in a class?
Just your child. Every class is one-on-one with the coach, including the Showcase at the end of each term. Not a small group that's called 1:1.
Is this homework help or exam prep?
Neither. Cueword is a communication program, built around stories your child picks. It builds how your child listens, reads, speaks and writes, which shows up everywhere.
Can I sit in on a class?
Yes, and we encourage it.
What devices do I need for attending your classes?
A laptop with a camera and a quiet space. Phones won't work.
What is the Cueword evaluation?
A free, 50-minute, one-on-one session with a Cueword specialist. It's a dialogue, not a test. It covers all five skills (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, public speaking, creative writing and vocabulary), and you get a Cueword Report the same day.
